Forget boring guidebooks. We’ll show you the Giant Mountains exactly the way we love to explore them ourselves. The mountains are calling!
This route is the ideal choice for beginner hikers and families who want to enjoy classic Giant Mountains nature without extreme effort. The starting point is Špindlerova bouda, which you can easily reach by bus. You'll face a short climb right at the beginning, but the rest of the trip is pleasantly downhill. The first part offers magnificent views straight from the mountain ridges, and since you'll pass several traditional mountain huts along the way, there will be plenty of opportunities to rest and grab some good refreshments. The trail will smoothly lead you back to the center of Špindlerův Mlýn.
A trip to Vrbatova bouda with minimum effort! During the high season, you can enjoy this trip almost without breaking a sweat. Take the cable car to Medvědín, walk 2 km down to Horní Mísečky, and catch a shuttle bus from Jilemnická bouda. It runs every 30 minutes, taking you up to Vrbatova bouda for stunning views of Krkonoše. Want a proper workout instead? Hike the entire route on foot!
Note: The bus runs from mid-June to the end of the summer holidays. The cable car operation depends on the ski resort's current schedule, but in summer, it runs daily.
