Have you noticed small black tadpoles while swimming in our natural pond? Then we have good news.
Their presence may have surprised you, but there is no reason to worry – quite the opposite.
Tadpoles are among the most sensitive inhabitants of nature and can only thrive in clean, healthy water. Their presence is therefore one of the best signs that our natural pond is in excellent condition and that the local ecosystem is functioning as it should.
You don't need to worry while swimming either. Tadpoles naturally avoid people, spending most of their time hiding among stones and aquatic plants as they gradually develop into little frogs. They are a natural part of the pond's ecosystem.
We kindly ask just one thing – please leave them in the water. Their delicate skin is very sensitive, and the pond is their home.
The next time you spot them, take a moment to watch them. You might be lucky enough to witness part of their fascinating transformation from tadpole to frog.
Thank you for helping us protect nature in the heart of the Krkonoše Mountains. Thanks to you, our natural pond remains a beautiful place not only for our guests, but also for its smallest inhabitants.
